So Faunts have gotten catchy. The new LP, Feel.Love.Thinking.Of, finds them venturing away from the moody and lengthy themes of M4 and into territory where I find myself bobbing my head (but I'm not dancing yet).
This is most exemplary in my favorite of the tracks, Out on a Limb. Parts of it are driven by almost funky guitar and bass, but then others are left solely to the spacey vocals that contributed so much to their past efforts. Further into the album you find Das Malefitz which leans so much more on electronics and production then it's post rock predecessors that it comes off more as a chillout track.
